Frequently asked questions
How do I save a place I like?
Tap the heart on any place card or place page to add it to your Favourites. To group places, tap Save on a place page and choose or create a collection, such as “Weekend Adventures”. You will find both in the Me tab.
How do I filter by age, budget or weather?
On Home, browse by age or budget. In Search, use the Quick Filters (Open Now, Free Entry, Indoor, Outdoor, Kid-Friendly, Rainy Day, Weekend Picks and Birthday Party) or open Advanced Filters for distance, age, price, amenities and more.
Why does the app ask for my location?
Location is used to show places near you and estimate travel time. You can turn it off in Me > Privacy Settings, or in your iPhone’s Settings. You can still browse without it and choose a location manually.
Do I need an account to use the app?
No. You can continue as a guest. Signing in with Apple or email lets your favourites, collections, visited history and family members sync across your devices.
How do I update my personal information?
Go to Me > Settings > Personal Information to change your name, photo, phone number or region. Manage family members under Family Profile.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Me > Settings > Privacy Settings > Delete Account. For security, iOS may need a recent sign-in first. If deletion does not work, sign out, sign back in and try again, or email verusvibe@gmail.com and we will help.
How do I get a copy of my data?
Go to Me > Settings > Privacy Settings > Export My Data to share a summary of your profile, preferences and saved places stored on your device. For anything more, email us.
Does adding an event read my calendar?
No. ChildrenGoWhere only has permission to add the events you choose. It cannot read your existing calendar events.
A place or event is missing or out of date. What should I do?
Email us the name of the place or event and what needs fixing. Details such as opening hours and prices can change, so please check with the venue before you travel.
Is ChildrenGoWhere free?
Yes. The app is free, with no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
